It's NOT likely you'll get a cop to chat with you, a civilian, online. You MIGHT try the chat rooms/forums. But you'll probably have to talk, face to face, with a bobby to get any help. Maybe print up a few 'business cards' saying Future Bobby or something with your name, etc, and hand them out to the police saying you want to volunteer or 'ride along' . Go to the station and talk to the Desk Sargent. Try to find a retired cop who has nothing better to do than talk. . Google 'uk police forum' . . .
