What is the police forces stance on the TA?

do they allowyou time off to go on a tour of duty with the TA or do they demand full-time service all year round. i would like to join the police and do justone tour for example. any police out there that might be able help?
the TA is the territorial army. it is a reserve branch of the army in the United Kingdom.

Can I use GI benefits for Police training academy?

I am in the Army Reserve and I get GI benefits, will they pay for police academy? Its on the academic list to some colleges and universities. Also if I get accepted will I be allowed to leave once a month for my drill? I know training is very strict about not letting you miss any days.

what will the types of questions asked for joining the police academy?

I’ am trying to join the police academy here in san diego.I’m applying directly and will finance the cost of the academy.I submitted my application package yesterday and was schedule for an oral interview next week and for the physical agility test in two weeks.I’m a little nervous about the interview as i dont know what type of questions they will ask me.If there is any one who has been in the same situation and gone thorough the process,would you please give tips and advices?

I you fail a part of the police academy and your sent home and the agency fires you because you couldn’t pass?
